Reverend Punch has positively impacted communities across Houston/Harris County Texas and Louisiana for 27 years. He has worked for Harris County Housing and Community Development Agency where he provided management and oversight to over $11 million dollars awarded to agencies who provided services to seniors, children, the homeless, persons with AIDS, victims of abuse, literacy, athletics and advocacy. He has also been a catalyst for business and economic development through management of the Acres Home Chamber of Commerce and Acres Home Center for Business and Economic Development.
As President and CEO of ReWard Third Ward Community Development Corporation and Vice President of Noah's Arc Community Development Corporation, Reverend Punch has been responsible for bringing over $17 million dollars in equity to Northern Third Ward, through the creation and development of two Multifamily Housing Apartments and dozens of Single Family Owner Occupied Homes. Reverend Punch is involved in the current revitalization of Third Ward through the City of Houston’s Complete Communities Program. In partnership with Midtown Redevelopment Authority, Reverend Punch is in negotiations to develop Single Family Affordable Homes in the shadows of Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He has also been contracted to develop a Supportive Housing Apartment Complex in the Sunnyside Community of Houston, Texas.
Reverend Punch and ReWard Third Ward have the honorable distinction of building the first energy efficient Silver LEED Certified Affordable Homes in the City of Houston/Country. During the 2017 Hurricane Harvey Disaster, Reverend Punch In coordination and conjunction with Greater Zion, ReWard Third Ward, Houston Food Bank, World Vision Distribution, First Baptist Congregation of Chicago and Global Outreach served over 6,000 individuals and sponsored 6 Churches in serving residents of Houston and Harris County who were devastated by the storm. Since 2008 he has played a vital role in disaster recovery efforts in Texas and Louisiana.
Reverend Punch has also been awarded over $2 million dollars from Washington, DC to develop 18 Units in Minden and Arcadia Louisiana. He has also in conjunction with ReWard Third Ward and Noah's Arc Community Development Corporation been awarded $4.5 million dollars from the Texas General Land Office to develop affordable housing units in Rockdale and Rockport, Texas. As a certified Texas and Louisiana developer ReWard Third Ward and Noah's Arc has a number of proposed projects in Rural Areas across both States. In 2019, The National Missionary Baptist Convention of America contracted with Reverend Punch to develop a Convention Owned Headquarters and Veterans Supportive Housing Mixed Use Development in the City of Dallas, Texas. Reverend Punch’s philosophy is “Brighten the corner where you are!” He is an advocate for the Church leading the way in making communities better. In the words of the song

Rick Sims is a Certified Tax Consultant with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. He is a renown and highly sought after Tax Credit Application Specialist. Since 2004 Mr. Sims is responsible for generating more than $18 million dollars in Tax Credit/Equity Funding.
Rick Sims has more than 19 years of experience and has been successful in the acquisition of tax credits for housing developments in Houston's Third Ward community. He has placed in service over 150 residential units. His background and expertise encompasses over 19 years of experience in the area of corporate financing strategies.

For Re-Ward Third Ward, Inc Community Development Corporation Ashley has assisted with planning, design and coordination of multiple development sites working with a myriad of development professionals inclusive of land planners, architects, engineers, environmental consultants and city officials. Ashley is a specialist at reviewing consultant proposals and conducting interviews of prospective development firms and construction companies. She also has experience with developing schedules and budgets for predevelopment and hard construction costs working with professional estimators and financial consultants.
